🦭 “Sing what?” asked Penny

One day, Alex, Penny, Robin and Naomi saw a seal and hoped the seal would stay a little bit longer. Alex remembered what Oonagh said to him and he told them:
“She said the way to get them to stay was to sing to them.”
“Sing what?” asked Penny.

Naomi has a song for the seal, apparently the seal liked the song, because it stayed and came further in. The song is All Things Bright and Beautiful! As I read this, my childhood memory came back to me. I sang Rutter’s All things Bright and Beautiful with the children choir when I was young. Until now, I still love the music and lyrics, my favourite verses are …

The purple-headed mountain,
The river running by,
The sunset and the morning,
That brightens up the sky;

The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
He made them every one;

All things bright and beautiful …

If you have children, it might be a good idea to send them to children’s choir, so that they will know what to sing when they meet a seal 🦭
