It’s very challenging to do life with a residential permit that needs to be renewed every year.
Despite all the challenges I’m going through, there are people trying to make my rainy day beautiful. It means so much more when I received an umbrella on a rainy day. All in all, I’m grateful.
Do I wish to stay in Germany?
In a way, yes. But still I welcome change. Either way, the most important thing is I stay in God’s plan for me.
Yesterday I handed in the necessary documents for the renewal of my residential permit application. I’ve done my part, I’m completely unsure if I did it perfectly, yet I can’t change anything now. So I will rest in God’s guidance and practice organ without worrying.
I was reluctant to make plan after 8th of September, the expired date of my current permit. I realized, my brain had a very good rest when I do not have any plan. I appreciate those moments, especially the second week in July. After that, I needed to intensify my effort with the matter, gathered and checked all the documents for the residential permit application.

A friend engaged me to play on her wedding. I played organ at her grandparents’ Diamond Wedding Anniversary a few years ago.
A friend invited me to Song Workshop in Copenhagen.
A friend asked: “Could you come and play an organ concert with the title Song and Dance?”
A friend asked me to give an organ recital. After I agreed to it …
A friend said “I saw your name in the next organ concert season!”
These are certainly convincing reasons for me to stay.
On top of these reasons, on my daily walk, I saw an apple tree with apple-laden branches. Looking at the ripening apples, suddenly, I’m anticipating Apple Season. I think, Apple Season could be a truly beautiful reason for me to stay!
