To-Do List: Spot the miracle, Give thanks

Kleine Wunder zu erkennen, ist eine Gabe, die glücklich macht.
To recognise small miracles is a talent that makes you happy.

This is a letter that I received not long ago, with some pictures. In the pictures, I saw the version of “me before organ”. Now I remember again, how many miracles it took to help me come this far. Playing organ to pay my living expenses, never ever this thought has crossed my mind when I was young. I’ve been dreaming to become a teacher, a butler, a writer, an ambassador, a librarian, an author and many more. Anyway, to become a musician had never been on my list.

I thank my friend for the letter and I thank God for the miracles. Music is the most beautiful encounter I have in my life.

Today I received another letter from an old friend, responding to my recent blog post – Miscellaneous Thoughts on Music. It is true that, I will write no matter what in all weathers. But a letter of encouragement is like a tailwind, it strengthen my flight.

Another close friend shared my blog as #mustread, I feel pampered. Because most of the time, I feel like talking to myself, if not, talking to the air. No worry, I have used to this. Usually, bestseller books and full house concerts disappoint me. A bookworm friend even say it bluntly that my reading taste is exotic. So I’ve learned how to be unpopular and still be happy. For my blog, I seek authenticity over popularity, because I want to make sure the reader who choose to stay really likes my content. I did do some works to increase the visibility of The Journey, in a way that true to myself. And I truly appreciate the friend who resonates with what I write.

The #mustread blog according to my friend:

The little stem of Begonia that just sprouted two months ago grows into a small tree now. The third leaf comes out. Life is a miracle. I am thinking how come the leaves look more and more like trout. What do you think? Or is it only my imagination?

Blackbirds have recently started hopping around in my garden again. How happy I am when I realized it is now February because my blackbird is about to sing!

My blackbird’s concert season is starting soon! And very soon, I will be listening to him every morning, one hour before the sunrise, without fail. What a beautiful motivation to wake up early in the morning! I now realize how much I miss his songs. Other birds wait for the sunrise to sing, my blackbird sings to call the sunrise. Birds’ chorus is announcing the arrival of spring, but my blackbird is prophesying the arrival of spring by being the first bird to raise his voice. What a wonderful fact that I am now living in February!

I don’t mind the ravens still cawing at the moment. Since I’ve read the book Krabat by Otfried Preußler, I have special emotions for ravens. Whether the ravens cawing from the roof or merry bird-calls from the green meadows, they are both special to me. And we can find both of them in the wonderful Schubert’s song – Dream of Spring. Enjoy!

If you’ve read about 10 articles from my blog and like them all, you can consider to buy me a cup of coffee 😉 I thank you in advance for your generosity.
