Decluttering music score – Part II

I will of course keep these! I love them.

Today is a successful day in decluttering music score. I’ve found some new owners for my scores.

Instead of letting the important composer Max Reger’s scores collecting dusk at my place, an organist friend welcome them with open arm. Please do not get me wrong, I enjoy listening to his organ composition, especially his – Choralfantasie “Wachet auf” op. 52, Nr. 2. However, I do not enjoy learning and playing them.

I had a great time conducting gospel choir and pop choir. When working with a wonderful band, the mood is like shooting up to the sky. As I do not see myself as a gospel choir conductor, so my beloved gospel choir scores have to go. A friend, she has a solid powerful alto voice and lead a gospel choir will foster the scores.

My “Schubert – sound book” that I won in December last year already found its new fan. Shh … I am secretly planting a seed. Who knows she might be the future “Winterreise” song recital’s audience? Her mother told me, among her sound books (Mozart and The Carnival of the Animals Suite by Camille Saint-Saëns), Schubert is the one she keeps looking for.

We are reading “Schubert”

I have to go back to my book, Dame Maconchy is already waiting for me.

Sounds and Sweet Airs by Anna Beer

This melody has been in my mind whole day today, don’t ask me why, I don’t know what my mind is thinking. Anyway, let it be the music of tonight. Sweet dreams!
