26th to 29th February, I was attending Württemberg Church Music Conference in Bad Urach. It was meaningful to start lent in this serene monastery. I have chance to step out of my daily life and to rethink about the essence of church music with others.
I’m being introduced to international choral music repertoire, I like the richness of styles in music. It is very inspiring to explore the potential of cross-disciplinary with information technology, animation and game design. I get to know that on the Theology side, there are One of 500 adventure game and Das Bibel Projekt animation that looking really attractive.
The chairman of German Bach Society Prof. Christfried Brödel held a session about church music and politic in East Germany. He shared his music experiences and his political view. He is a humble wise man. I am thinking of getting one of his books – Unter Kreuz, Hammer, Zirkel und Ährenkranz.
Besides, there were concerts, I talked with old and new friends, nice walks and delicious food in Bad Urach.
